My question to some of you longer time reloaders than me is this, I have a great load of 64 grains of imr 4350 an a 120 grain nosler red tip, and I want to use these 120 grain 120 grain ttsx, with same charge and primer, and I know I will have to change seating depth, but do any of you think I should drop the charge by a grain or to and work up? or go with the 64 grain charge I have?

Unless you are working with a very mild load always reduce the powder charge somewhat when you change a component regardless of the cartridge.

Back off the powder and work back up. Especially with the mono bullets you will get more pressure than with cup and core bullets with same powder charge. Like has been said it you change anything back off and work back up.

morning, check loading manuals. if the load is in safe limits. shoot it. barnes

bullets like to b pushed hard. keep the seating depth as long as u do not

jam the bullet into the grooves. I use barnes and Lupua bullets. had very good

accuracy and kill results. lightbulb:)gun)
