Resized a 22creedmoor round I did lube the case before I started.
I did get the reprise pin out but the neck resizer is still inside the case.
It will not drive out with a punch slide all the way to the base.

I've been reloading for over 45 years. For the quick fix, try the freezer trick orange1948 suggested. If you plan on doing a lot of reloading, get a stuck case remover: you never know when a case will get stuck, and that piece of equipment will save you time frustration in the long run.

Or if you can send it to RCBS, they will remove it for you, and polish it to make sure there are no scratches in the die walls. Might be why it got stuck in the first place, so letting them polish it up is worth the time to send it in. You can't use it now anyway.
For real???? I have two that I can't get out even with the case remover

I have hung a few up. The couple I managed to get the expander ball/decap stem out of - it is surprising how much of a lick they can take with a punch & hammer and still stay put. Then, if you have access to a large arbor press, how easy they can be pressed out.

222 Rem Mag, I put the die in my press upside down & used a metal rod just long enough to push the brass out of the die. And the expander ball was still in the case. Then I cut the case to remove the ball. Unfortunately it was NOT salvageable.

A trip to your local hardware store to buy a drill bit, tap (size match drill), washers, & bolt (size match tap) will work. Anybody out there who has used the Frankford Arsenal stuck case remover? As good as I am ;) I still ger stuck cases, like 2-3 per year.
Since I started using Imperial Sizing wax, I have not had any more stuck cases. I hope by posting this I didn't jinx myself. Lol.
