Anyone ever had a stainless brake on a matte/blued barrel?

I'm Thinking of leaving the brake & bolt knob stainless on my 700 long range, but have yet to see a picture of one.

Anyone ever done this?

I've seen so many combinations that my eyes glaze over just thinking about it. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. If you like, nothing else matters. :)
+1 ... and if you later changed your mind, your gunsmith can coat to match your matte barrel.

Very true-We shall see then. I figured the stainless may go hand in hand with the grey webbing B&C stock:rolleyes:

No problem. Contour your brake. Take it off. Cerakote and reinstall. My barrel is chromoly so I nitrided it. It's slick looking with the 2 tone.
Post pics when you're done

It's all about what you are going for.

This is my hunting setup. It gets used HARD!

WhAt is the first thing the animal sees? The end of the rifle pointed towards it.

Here is one I did for my buddy. A little more classy, less utilitarian than mine.
