Been reloading with a buddy for a while now , mostly smaller cases . Yesterday we loaded up some big ones ! 338 Allen Xpress with 300 sierra's next to a factory 338 Lapua with 275 hornady . 50 rounds out of a pound of retumbo .

Yep, my 375CheyTac goes through pounds of powder. Unlike the 1kg bottles they offer in H1000 here, only 500g bottles of Retumbo are available. H50BMG comes in 4kg jugs though.
Powder prices here are robbery…

Be glad for not reloading 50bmg as you'll get 14-20 rounds per #. Correct me if I'm wrong but 1# is about 2.2# per kilo so that's 1.1# for 500g? I don't know the conversion

Yep, 1kg is 2.2 pounds, so .5kg is 1.1 pounds. 4kg is 8.8 pounds.
I used to buy all powders here in 4kg jugs, but, after the fire at ADI building #3, they dropped a lot of powders back to 500g and 1kg.

CheyTac uses 148g of Retumbo per round, or 142g of H50BMG per round. My Rigby Improved cases run 123g-128g, depending on powder, cases are pretty full up to the neck/shoulder juncture.
How much Universal do you think I would need? 100g of COW to keep it all contained? Lol.

Tomorrow is range day . It's only 600 yards but sometimes you have to work with what you have . Will be shooting the 6 arc also .
