I had a 3-hour session booked at a local private range this weekend, and none of my regular shooting buddies, or two of my invited guests could make it last minute. So, I got to go shoot my own rifles for a change. Shot from 350 to 1387.

6CM, 105 Hyb (350 to 1387)
25CM 135 Hyb (350 to 1387)
.260AI 140 Hyb (740 to 1387)
6.5SS 130 Hyb (560 to 1387)
7SS 184 Hyb (740 to 1387)
.280AI 175 Elite (560 to 980 verification for upcoming elk hunt with my nephew)

I need to get a photo of the steel at 350. I call it the "Hostage target". It is a 66% IPSC silhouette and is 75% covered by a saguaro cacti skeleton, so you can only see about 25% of the right side from the platform I shot from. I always sneak a couple rounds into the 2" or so of head showing for fun.

L-R: 7SS, 25CM, 6CM, 6.5SS, .260AI, .280AI

You don't have enough rifles!🤣
Real nice RIGS!!!!!

It's good to have options. What are the specs on your 280ai?
R700 LA squared and threads recut, PT&G .250 pinned recoil lug
Bolt fluted, TI firing pin and Wolff Blitzschnell spring, alloy bolt shroud, CF tactical knob
26" 1:9" Proof CF Sendero Light
TBAC CB w. Ultra 9
Manners EH1 w. pillars and bedded
R700 LA alloy BDL
Shilen Match trigger at 1,25lbs
Seekins alloy 20MOA Picatinny rail
Seekins 30mm .87" medium rings
Tangent Theta TT315M 3-15x50 Gen 2XR
Flatline Ops level

It started out as a $250 Pawn shop .30-06 in bad shape. Ditched everything but the action and built a 28" .25-06AI (before the heavies and fast twist barrels were released). Killed a bunch of deer with it. Shot that barrel out and rebuilt it into a .280AI. We have shot a bunch of deer and a few elk with it now.

Buddy. I think that is every shooters dream!! Favorite rifles , great hand loads ,private instructions!! That is the best !! Good for you!!! I had two days ,alone at bang steel shooting school in Virginia last October! I loved all the education and the shooting ! I had just one rifle and about 80 rounds of 270 Weatherby Mag hand loads! I was in heaven shooting out to 1200 yards!!! I hoped you loved every minute!!!
