1 lb. venison
1 lb. hot sausage
1.5 tsp. ground cumin
2 tsp. oregano
4 or 5 tbls. chopped garlic
2 15oz. cans diced tomatoes
2 15oz.cans pinto beans
1 or 2 - 4oz. cans mushrooms
1 medium onion diced
3 or 4 tbls. masa flour
Fry the venison, sausage and onion until well done. Put in a crock pot & add all other ingredients (except the flour) cook on high for 2 hours, give it a good stir & reduce heat to low and cook another 2 hours add the flour a little at a time until slightly thickened. Serve with Red Wine & Sourdough bread.
You can add or subtract any of the ingredients to your own taste but this is the way I like it the most.
