Has anyone tested the bullet that Sig uses for its elite hunter line in gel or any another expansion testing?
It says its controlled expansion. I've shot 2 yotes and it killed both instantly with very large exits, which makes me wonder about the controlled expansion part?
I have the 243 90gr G1 .49 BC it groups outstanding in my Ruger predator .5 MOA. Plan to use for deer since it controlled expansion but the exit wounds make me wonder if its not just a bullet more similar to a ballistic tip varmint round?
