Seekins HAVAK PH1 in 28 Nosler - 195 gr. EOL Bergers?

Folks,

I am wondering if anyone has experience with shooting the 195 gr EOL Bergers in a 28 Nosler Seekins HAVAK PH1 rifle. The twist rate is 1:8.6; Is this fast enough to stabilize the 195 gr.? Is the chamber throat long enough to allow seating out far enough as to not sacrificing powder capacity?

I have only shot factory loads in mine so far. Total of 70 rounds so far. I have shot factory Nosler 160 gr. AB, & 175 gr. ABLR and Hornady PH 162 gr ELD-X. The Hornady ammo grouped best ( 5 shot 100 yard groups in the .758" to .900" range ) and the 175 gr ABLR not so well at all ( 5 shot groups 1.25" to 1.75" range )

I don't have info for the 195s specifically, but others have had good luck with 180s. The 8.6 twist rate is about right for spinning 195s. Here is some info about the 28N Havak with 180s that you might find helpful.

Thanks for the link, i have enjoyed reading backwards through all of the early HAVAK buzz .... I have one in 6.5 PRC and it has shot very well.
