Scrap Brass Prices?

I am interested to see what others are getting for their scrap brass. Just called the local recycler and they are down to $1.20/lb for yellow brass. Seemed low to me, what are you all getting?

Just checked here in Portland Oregon and I was told $1.87 a pound.

N.W. Ill. 2.05/lb. They won't take them with expended primers in.

The guy close to me won't buy it. He said if I would melt it down into a block or something he'd buy it.
