Nah you're good. I try to spread my rings out as far as possible on the tube and also mount the scope as low as possible to the bore.

Hey guys just wanted to get your thoughts on this mounted scope? Is the front scope ring to close to the objective. I did install it myself but after looking at it closer I was a little concerned? Thanks for any information or thoughts on it.
I was trying to get them spaced as far apart as possible.

The mount looks good to me. As long as the front mount is not up on the bell it should be OK, to the rear if you can change the magnification without any binding it also looks good. The center of the scope is where the magic happens and you don't want anything inside that area binding. All in all, looks good to me.

Yes I torque them to 18 inch pounds. And the 1/2 inch bolt to 65 inch pounds. Had a plumber on the far wall to get scope level.

I tried using a plumber once but, the butt crack got in the way
