Scope rings help

How high of rings would I need on top of a picatinny rail for a Remington 700 if my scope is a 44 mm scope? I want it to be somewhat low, no more than 1/2 inch above the barrel. Could anybody help a newbie?

DDW, find the ring model you like and send an e-mail to the manufacturer. Most will respond within a couple days with the correct ring size for your scope size and brand. Warne and Talley have been dead on with their replies for many of their products. Good luck

I use 0 MOA rails and TPS TSRW low rings and still have room even with 50mm Objectives.
