Scope on a Sharps

I have an 1878 Lyman Sharps in 45-70 as well as 70 years of miles on me. Needless to say, iron sights are less of a friend these days, so I bought one of the long skinny period correct scopes from MVA.
I don't know any local smiths I trust to do the drill tap mount routine near my home in Spokane and western Montana.
Any suggestions?
