Win what...popularity contests? Just because the "top PRS shooters" don't use as many as NightForce tells me little to nothing.https://precisionrifleblog.com/2018/12/21/best-scope/
Here is a good link that shows they don't always win.

I don't think that graph helps your point unless I'm reading it wrong. Looks like more people are in the 1-10 category for prs with S&B by a large margin. With nightforce having the overall popular vote.
So people like nightforce but more people placed first by a large margin with S&B
At that point I highly highly doubt it's just the scope. Could be rifle, ammo, availability to be able to practice. Correlation does not mean causation!
Well it could be the top shooters in prs according to the graph roll with s&b. Ammo and practice is a given if you ever seen what it takes to place in prs. Which is still correlation I believe if top shooters are using s&b. I just don't know if the graph includes local or national.
I'm just interpreting what it looks like the graph says...And I still think it's crazy this is still being debated.
I think people now should know at this point that it's still possibly the best scope ever made. The only people who argue against, never extensively played with one or doesn't own one or in other words not intimately familiar with.
If you don't want to spend the money on it for whatever your reason then don't. Or if you have a hard time things out there might be better than your favorite line of scope then cool. Stick with that. There's plenty of other good scopes out there. If you don't like the complexity of the warranty go get a vortex. No big deal peeps.
If a fellow has the money for an S&B and wants one, go for it. He probably won't be disappointed. If the same fellow only has enough for a $1100-$2000 scope, I doubt he would be disappointed with it either. If I happen upon a large sum of unexpected cash, I will let you guys know how the S&B works out.Well it could be the top shooters in prs according to the graph roll with s&b. That's the only argument against SB is "can I afford it?" Lol

Ha Ha I love getting the fan boys all worked up!
I'm sure they are top tier optics. Can I afford one yes will I ever own one probably not they are a bit to heavy for my hunting style.So... I will probably never own one of the "very best"
But then again I will probably never own a Ford truck which is the "Very Best" or A corvette the "very best" sports car ever!
I'm sure in this life most of what I own won't be the very "best" according to some people.
