The most important scent prevention is to wash your hunting clothes in scent lok detergent. You don't realize how terrible and strong Tide and others really are until you've been on the mountain for a week or two without them. We use the cover spray but that is all it really is, it "helps" cover smells it doesn't eliminate them. If we plan on hunting a certain area multiple times we really try to control scent. Scent will accumulate and linger in an area if you are not careful. We learned this trapping. We have found that our presence near the trap line doesn't scare coyotes away it is the proximity to the sets and how well you control your scent. Wind can also work for you in the mountains of Wyoming. I've killed a few bulls just because I could smell them.
