Of scientific interest is the tremendous amount of surface tension the nostrils of the alligator generate with the water film .

Did you score on a hog this time? From your last post, things didn't pan out for you if I remember correctly.. Being from SC myself, you would think I would be able to point you in the right direction, but I'm not really up on the hog populations.

I finally figured it out. The hogs are hunted so hard and long that they stay in the swamps and thickets and you really have to just go in there after them.
