savage bolt action for 30-378 weatherby

would the savage 110 be usable for a single shot 30-378?28 to 30 inch barrel on it.thanks

If the barrel was setup to be screwed on like a conventional barrel ie Rem 700 with the shoulder instead of the barrel nut. It makes for alot better and stronger setup especialy for the fat cases

The system may well handle this round when the barrel is fitted properly but I would not recommend it personally as it has not been tested to be up to the challange.

Until it has been done and proven safe I would lean away from the Savage. Dimensionally it would probably be fine but still it is a probably.
