Savage 10/110 Varmint max 1

I was interested in purchasing a savage 10/110 varmint max 1 in either a 6.5 creedmoor or a 6.5x284, the deciding factor is whether the 6.5x284 comes in a short or long action in this model. I plan on shooting Berger 140 gr VLD's. I'm afraid if it comes in a short action I won't have enough length to accommodate these longer rounds. If anybody knows I would appreciate the input.

Not sure about the Varmint but the 110 Predator Hunter in 6.5x284 has plenty of room. I run 140gr. VLD's in mine. .010" off the lands and there's still plenty of room in my magazine to run them longer when the time comes.
