Sako extractor on a Savage?

Is it possible to install a sako-type extractor on a Savage bolt?

There are a couple thinks that can be done to improve them.

Not having problems lol. Don't even have the rifle yet. Just wondering how to improve on factory configuration.

Now that Savage has changed to a centerfeed there are very few problems, feeding, extracting, or ejecting rounds.


You'll gain the most improvement in your Savage action by sending it and $125 to Sharp Shooter Supply for a time and true.

Fred makes sure your action and nut is square to the action threads and makes sure the trigger, camming, and cocking are all timed properly.

Thanks for the help, I was kinda thinking of doing that anyway (def now lol). I was also looking at his sporter style stock, if the rifle doesn't come with the accustock.
