I'm in the process of building a new rifle. Not trying to go ultralight but don't want a 14lb rifle either. It will be a 7x300win mag and I'm going to use a #6 rock creek fluted barrel finished at 28" plus a break. The stock I planned on using is a McM game warden with edge fill that I have. My question is will this rifle be overly front heavy with the balance point too far forward?
