Replace Stock on Remington Sendero 7mm STW?

I have a late 90s Rem Sendero 7mm STW stainless with the 26" fluted barrel.

Has anyone replaced the stock on one of these or was the factory stock fine?

I restocked mine with a Manners. It shot well before. After I did a full length bed job in the new stock it shoots .25 or better. Before it was .5 to .75. it's a bit heavy with this stock but I can steady it better at long range.

Nothing at all wrong with the original H-S precision stocks. Just float it, bed it and shoot it if it doesn't already have pillars and proper bedding.

The factory stock on the Sendero's is the Gold Standard For factory rifles, unless you just want something different there is no need IMPO
