Remington 798?

A few years back I saw Remington was selling the Model 798 Mauser that was added to there line of rifles..did they discontinue this rifle?
I saw one at the range and it was shooting .75moa, not bad. it also looked good doing it.
 
Yep, Remington stopped importing them. They were imported previously by Interarms, and Charles Daly. EAA has assumed importing rights I see. I own one in 375H&H. The main problem with them I saw, was the roughness to the action due to machinework. I smoothed it out with some JB compound and a little elbow grease. For the $400 I paid for it, it was worth it. Keep an eye out, you'll see them in shops still if you are seeking one.
