Remington 700P Magazine Question

I have a Remington 700P in 338 Lapua and I'm elk hunting with it this year. I'm a little worried about loosing the magazine when going through brush if the release gets knocked. Is there a way to lock the magazine in place or something that I can do to disable the lever?
