I think 1000 yards is stretching it with the 260 ai...At 2500 feet elevation I drop below 1800 fps and 1000 foot pounds at 880 yards..That is farther than I will personally shoot at game..Inside my comfort zone though ,it has more than enough horsepower..gun)

757 yards with the 260ai,cold bore,10 inch painted circle.This is inside my comfort zone...LOL
