      I'm building a 338 Norma Magnum Improved (Technically, a 338 Norma Rogue -- Dave Kiff's wildcat.)

I'm curious, what sorts of velocities are you able to achieve? (I'm planning on shooting the 300 grain Berger.) How has the Improved worked out for you? The NM seems to have a reputation for very little velocity spread, is this the same for the improved version?

Any advise or insights would be hugely appreciated! (BTW: What you did to your barrel is way cool.)
