Dilemma! So I got this 7mm remmag barrel/action/trigger and I'm trying to find more details on it. When I try to go by first two numbers being RR it says it's like pre 1970.. that would be from the serial number. Then the stamp to the left, everything I read says two letters but in this case this is just a single "H". It's honestly just ****ing me off at this point 😄.

I was going to take this and have it smithed to a 7mm PRC but lack of brass makes me not want to and just sell this and do a .338 Norma instead. No idea yet but more info on this package would help.

It's definitely not pre 1970. Looks like very recent production……..
I don't think their website takes into account Serial Numbers from about the last 10 years or so
Yea agree... not even pre 1990. Lol I just can't figure it out. Maybe that's it, too new.

See this doesn't make sense to me. First 2 numbers of serial are RR and that says 1946... But then if you go off barrel stamp H ... the newest year is 1997. It definitely looks newer than that.

I know I have a action I got new probably about 2019 that was a rr. I got it from Davidsons so it didn't sit forever in a gun shop
Interesting. It must be like the first guy said. Just so new they don't have a track anymore.

So, it must be 1987 that's the last "H" marking and it looks pretty newish in the finish.

If it has the Xmark pro trigger it is definitely a later gun. I think they started putting these in around 2008 +-.
