Redding 700 Ultramag Single stage Press

Anyone here own and use this press ? looking at it for replacement or addition to RCBS RC. loading maybe for the 338 edge and similar calibers.

worth the money ? others with same height but cheaper ?

I don't own that particular press, but I do own a Redding press that works very well. Can't really go wrong with Redding equipment.

I have one and really like it. It is smooth strong and makes good loads, no runout problems. I load 300 RUM and 338/378 with no problems. I will soon be using it for 338/408. I did make another handle that is a little shorter for the times when you don't need the extra leverage.

I'm sure it's a great press. But, you should also compare it to the Forster Bonanza Co-Ax press which I can attest to being first class.

It's probably a great press, but I load my 300 RUM with a Rock Chucker and it works well too.
