morning i bought a Wbee mark V german made 7mm. the barrel has a

bulge, i will replace with Krieger barrel. i would like to have a #7 contour

30" small fluted barrel installed on the action. question is do i use a 9 or 10

twist? the action and barrel will b seated in a H&S precision stock made for the

german made Wbee. u have to say 9 lug bolt and german made. this feature

cost $90 more for the correct purchase of the stock. this according to

stocky's stock. this is a 7mm Wbee magnum. i prefer barnes lrx bullets.

145-168gr. bullets. Please advisegun)

Barnes says 1 in 8 twist for the 168gr LRX. I could not get the .264 127gr LRX to stabilize in a 1 - 9 twist they are very long even longer than VLD's.

Good luck and shoot straight

Yep 1/8 would be my choice. I made the mistake on my 257 and left it to the Smith saying I would only shoot heavy and long bullets. Its a very well known Smith and i ended with a 1/10 which works for heavy nosler but not with Barnes or cutting edge.
