Re-Contour Barrel

I have a Proof Research 26" steel competition contour (1.25) for a Terminus Zeus Prefit QC chambered in 22CM that has a threaded/crowned muzzle. I am interested in getting it machined to a (1.20) Sendero contour possibly fluted. I ordered the wrong barrel contour and can not return it. Thanks for the help

Awesome, I don't know why I didn't think of them yesterday during business hours but have emailed them and hope that that is something they will do. I couldn't find on their website that they re-contour barrels but will cross my fingers???

Sometimes recontouring may cost as much as a new barrel.
Depends on the amount of work.

That is definitely a concern as I am ignorant to what it may cost to re-contour a barrel. I did put it up for sale in classifieds but has not got any real interest. Was struggling with the idea of getting a new action and chassis setup. I learned from getting excited and ordering a barrels with out doing more research on my part.

I'd also suggest Long Rifles Inc but contouring and fluting aren't cheap.

I think selling or trading would be a better financial option. That heavy contour would have better chance of finding buyers on the hide
