Hey folks,

Selling a new, unused Proof Research Carbon pre-fit barrel in 300 PRC. Bought this and then decided to go with a gunsmith chambered 28 Nosler.

Barrel has never been on an action. It is new in the box.

24" barrel threaded 5/8x24. 1:9" twist. Chambered for PRC by proof.

Asking $700 for this bad boy. Retail on these is $939

This is sometimes a difficult question to answer:

Does Proof use a SAAMI spec reamer or do they use a reamer with custom specifications for a particular bullet?

That's a great question. I believe when i was sourcing the barrel I was told they chamber to SAAMI specs.

Just got off the phone with Proof Research and they say that they chamber to "close to" SAAMI minimum chamber dimensions.
