Primers-fps

It was pin protrusion that I was adjusting. All primers fired through adjustments.

But there are many attributes of striking, and I couldn't predict individual nor combination changes.
You have spring force, it's force curve, pin travel, protrusion & diameter, cocking piece mass and travel, sear release distance and clearance, primer cup thickness & hardness, and primer seating & preload, case headspacing. Well, there is at least that much with potential to affect us. Then you have the internal ballistic factors in ignition, which are many.

I have a little experience switching between Fed215GM primers and CCI250's in 7 mag, 300 Win, and 300Wby. The 215's allowed velocities that were around 30fps faster in all guns.
