Pretty Long Poke

Took a friend of mine out to get a long range pig. Due to some pour life choices earlier in life he is limited to muzzleloaders only. Im sorry, but do not know the maker of the rifle? He was shooting a 300gr Pittman bullet at 2977fps. Up to this point he had only shot targets out to 612yrds, very accurately. This pig was 760yrds. Needless to say, he was very happy.

It is still a dead pig! Congrats on a shot like that with a muzzie. Would it be presumptuous to conclude he did not utilize ballistic software for that shot?

I know zero about smokeless muzzleloaders, but thats a shooter right there. I've been very impressed with what he has done with it

Congratulations. I got into smokeless muzzleloading a couple years ago. My range in my hunting area is limited but I did manage to get a fat doe at 277 yards the first year. Smokeless muzzys bring a new light to the game and with accuracy that rivals good centerfire rifles.
