powders for 38-40 & 25-20

What is the best powder to use in reloading for the old 38-40's & 25-20's. the 25-20 was made in the 1880's & the 38-40 was made in 1900. also what primers to use???? Thank's to anyone who can help!!!!!!!!!!!!!
