Are any of you guys finding it hard to find powder............?? In my area its not available at all. Im looking for some H4350. Are there any suppliers on line that have any in stock............Are any of you experianceing shortages in your area. I was told not to even ask for the next 3 months. I have NO powder for my .243 AI.....................

Any other powder like H414 would do ......................

Or a web sight that you know has any in stock or might have some

Powder is pretty hard to find since December when everyone is going sort of nuts because of New Town CT. and the rumors of the tighter Government gun controls.

Yes it's hard to find right now, but not impossible. I picked up 8 lbs of H414 last week from 3rd Generation Shooters Supply on a tip on this Forum from Coyotemaster. He had seen that they had powder come in and tipped people off. So just keep looking, several of the Web sites won't notify you, you have to just keep checking every day.

just read on the net that Feinstein's Bill won't make it to the floor or maybe even the universal background ck, so maybe news like this will loosen up the supplies as shooters stop hording. Supplies are tight here also, but one notable store here is apparently pretty tight with suppliers so powders are still coming in at a trickle.

i started buying reloading componets to ensure i could keep shooting for an extended period just prior the 2008 election as it got pretty clear we weren't going to win. I have accomplished that, and I just picked up two pounds of IMR 4350 @ $32 locally so its still available ya just have to be presistant.

I just happened to stumble across 4 lbs of VARGET today when walking thru.......of all places.... Walmart. the guy said that it just came in and was just put on the shelf. I snatched it up quickly. I have been lucking out lately with inadvertently stumbling across components. Persistence is a definite to finding stuff and being at the right place at the right time. I have come across certain hard to find Bergers that are coming in one or two boxes at a time, found some Hornady bullets that came in on a small shipment, got a tip on .308 Lapua brass from a fellow LRH.com member that a Cabelas store had a few boxes on the shelf and had to call the store directly and purchase over the phone and have shipped, and just happens that a local shop has the holy grail.... CCI BR2's he literally has cases of them and selling for $54 per 1000.

Be persistant.
