I find it interesting that pricing varies for the same powder under different labels and all owned by the same Co. For instance, Accurate 2230 is the same exact powder as Ramshot Xterminator yet 2230 is $32/lb and XT is $27/lb. The only difference is the label. There are other examples but no point in it. With Hodgdon and Vista monopolizing the powder market prices can only go up. Doesn't the SEC have an obligation to prevent this stuff? Rant over

This is the same as primers. Happened to look at a box of CCI250s I have on the shelf and it's a whopping $35.99. My oh my have times changed. Try finding them double that price and you won't. Until the demand goes down and folks start trading more, the prices will steady increase. $2 here, $3 there and $5 elsewhere. Once the $2 and $3 increases are sold out, all that's left is the $5 increase and the cycle starts over.

Was really hoping with the big tax cut the big companies would have kept prices stable and pushed savings down to us but hey, the little man got suckered again. With all the tax savings it's now just greed as they're saying "WHAT ARE YOU WILLING TO PAY FOR IT".

Most gun shops are loaded with powder at the present. Mine has about everything you would want. Just no large rifle primers. 8 pound jug of Varget is $399.99 out the door. $50 pound. H4350 and H4831 is about the same. I'm in Alabama, imagine its higher in other states. No hazmat with local buys.
