The article never called Jefferson guilty,he is reffered to as suspected. The same as you or I would be if we robbed a bank and havent been convicted yet,or even if we were just under investigation for it.
I will admit,I have no telorance of Pelosi. After her remarks about how the American tax payers should basically support unemployed illegal immigrants to improve thier lifestyle,I knew she was an extreme socialist and has no problem promoting her socialist ideas.
As for Jefferson,no I wouldnt call him guilty,he is under investigation, but with two side kicks that have already plead guilty and 90 grand in his freezer (someplace people keep this kind of thing everyday)...well,you know the old saying,if it quacks like a duck.
I dont believe the article was in anyway implying guilt, its just the idea that the Speaker of the House would appoint someone under investigation of a crime to the Homeland Security Committee, especially after being removed from the House Ways and Means Committee.....kinda sends a very loud message about Pelosi's thought train process, dont you think?
