looking for a .308 pacific tool and gauge right ejection bolt head. for a savage short action

I may have what your looking for. It's definitely a PT&G bolt head that's .473. I just can't tell you if it's for a SA or LA. The bolt head is .500" deep and from the bottom of the bolt head to the shaft pin hole its .695". Hope that helps.

what does the total lengh measure ?
long action will be 1.625 and short should be 1.440

Ok well thanks for that info. Didn't know that. I bought it for a spare but pretty much got away from Savage for the most part. Just had some spare parts laying around.

Sorry. I was gonna send it out to you and if it worked, give me what you think it's worth. It's never been used and I won't use it unless I replace the factory bolt head on a LA Savage I still have. I guess it'll be a spare part still.
