Hi guys, New to the forum but have been hanging around in the shadows pirating information for a long time. Very impressed with the wealth of experience on this forum. It seems whenever I'm researching this site shows up. Decided it was time I signed up. Perhaps one day I can make a useful contribution.

I wonder if any of you have experience with Pac-Nor barrels and their polygonal rifling. I am considering one for my next build.

No personal experience w/the poly rifling but have very high respect for their barrels.

Have researched a ton regarding poly rifling. David Tubbs, I understand, uses Schnieder's poly exclusively.

Extreme magnums w/fast twists are hard on jackets. Thus my next one will sport a Pac Nor poly barrel.

I don't think you can go very wrong with your intended build.

Let us know how it turns out...."in a couple of years....when it's completed....:D:D:D

Neither Pacnor, nor Schnieder barrels are actual polygonal.
They are just standard rifling pulled with a dull tool.
