Just recieved my new Marlin x7vh rifle last week.This will be my new P-Dog rifle,along with the marlin 917 and old faithful mauser in 22-250. Took x7vh out of box and started break-in . Took a total of 7 rounds !!!! very very good barrel.put my new Boyds thumbhole stock on it and scoped it .now to work up a load that will reach out there and touch someone. Could not believe how slick the barrel rifling was from factory.

Nice. I am looking for a LR scope for my 204. That thing shoots amazing and would like to stretch it a little. It is a good trainer for the kid too. Whistle pigs might be in trouble this spring.
