I knpw this is an old thread, I just bought a hells canyon speed in 7mag
Barrel is 26 + the break

I have the Hells Canyon Speed in 7mag. I can't say enough about it. I was an about junkie and this is my first xbolt. I like the thinner profile or the x-bolt. I like the magazine better on the x-bolt. Accuracy is submoa with reloads. Right there with my abolt. I haven't worked a load up for accuracy, just practical hunting. I shoot a 165 sat at 3050 that is an absolute hammer on PA whitetails.

I have one in 270 wsm that is a tack driver and recoil is very low for a magnum. Shoots 140 gr federal trophy bonded tipped rounds at sub 0.5 MOA at 100 yds all day long.

My wife has a standard x-bolt hunter in 6.5 creed and it shoots 0.75 with Hornady factory 143, but shoots 0.3 with 143 handloads.
