Hi guys,

First this is what i shoot, 6/284 Apollo sierra 100gr/bt 51.0 h4831 ww case cci mag primers
av. vel. 2965.
The problem is the first 5+ shots are more like a pattern then a group, after the barrel get some heat in it the group falls right in to about .4 at 100. which is fine for me as yotes are what i am after. Thanks for any and all the help.

I have worked on a few Christensen Arms guns that were like that. Wouldn't shoot a cold bore group to be proud of but started to shoot better once the barrel warmed.

Have you tried loading them a bit hotter?

Thanks for the response, the loading data that i have says this is 2 grains off max, do you think i have room for more? granted i have no sign of pressure but what i have read about this cartridge is their hard on barrels?
