How about a 3 part bullet........inner being tungsten with titanium middle and copper outer. This way you get a heavy bullet without it being very long, but by design have high bc.

There is guys on here that play around with sabots but just stick a smaller cal lead bullet in them.
Think a 22 cal projectile coming out of a RUM case

Edit: I mis read your post the first time. I understand your idea now but you need a tungsten core, then a lead layer then a copper jacket. Titanium will serve no purpose.

When I started in 1974 the heaviest I can remember were, 24/100, 25/120, 26/140, 27/150, 28/175, 30/220.
My M-16 was loaded with 55 gr FMJ and the M-60 I lugged around for 2 yrs shot either 147 or 150 gr, dont recall.
I would not be surprised if one day solid copper, longer and lighter will replace c/c. JMO
In 1988, when I started reloading, I was using a 160g 264 bullet from Speer in my 6.5x55, absolute hammer of a bullet. I was also using a 220g bullet from Hornady in my 300WMā€¦

It's to keep it lighter than lead.
