On Our Way To LRH Group Elk Hunt

Andy and I left home at 3 am yesterday heading to Wyoming for this year's LRH group elk hunt. We met up with one of our hunters, Todd at the range at Mac's Gunworks in Gillette, WY last evening and verified our trajectory out to 800 yards using our G7BR2 rangefinder. Todd bought one from us recently too. Chuck Macintosh's range has steel out to well over a mile and we were treated to a stunning sunset. Nice way to start the trip!

Chuck's wonderful range and last night's sunset are just 2 more reasons I envy you boys who live in the 307 area code.

We 8 hunters will arrive in camp this afternoon and do some more verification. Can't wait to be up in the mountains glassing for bulls tomorrow morning!
