My friend rented rifles, two choices, 243 and 300 win. Bout 10 rounds to practice...go hunt.

If they had a 6.5 youknowwhat they could save on ammo.

Another good cartridge that fits the category is the 1920 old school 25/ Ought-6...

It was kind of an under dog for alot of years,,, todays slower burning powders and hopefully boolitz over the .466 BC will bring new life to the old girl...

I just built a 25 creedmoor, shooting high BC blackjack Bullets @ 3k fps. The ultimate abomination, flame on please......

By no means a long distance load, but, after about 40 bullets at 80 cents each I have decided on a load for my 270. 180 grain Woodleighs going 2529, hodgdon data. Good enough for hunting this fall, for me, anyway.

I have a sig 3000 with a benchmark 6.5 creed and a .308 win factory barrel
The 6.5 is wonderful for long range pronghorn here in wyoming I have quick kills at 800+ but I use 308 win on bigger game at 800 + 6.5 is a dream at punching holes at 1k I can do it with either barrel but live my creed
