We'll I started loading 3 years ago for long range farthest animal to date is a pig at 645 yards ,300 ultra my gun !
Fast forward to this year last weekend was our opener in texans , I loaded some 208 Amax's. For my brother Inlaws 300 ultra gun shoots them we'll to 600 yards ,
He shot two pigs #1 was 150 pounds shot right behind shoulder complete pass thru , 90 yards , pig #2 was 225 lbs shot right in the shoulder 110 yards bullets went thru both shoulder plates and stuck right under the skin opposite side here is a picture of bullet , I will weight it to see how much it weights , bullet fragmented and went a destroyed its heart and lungs .
Loads are running 2970 Fps , bulltes held together well .
