Nikon..out of the scope business

Never owned one! Had a pair of their binoculars for a short time! Never was impressed by their stuff

I have a Nikon Black 6-24x50 x1000 MRAD Illuminated Scope and I love it.
It sits upon my Bergeara 6.5 Creedmoor B14 BMP with Terminator muzzle break.
I can't imagine a better scope. How can you get better glass than from a world famous camera manufacturer.
Rigor

Easy: A tier 1 scope maker. Just because they know how to make ultra awesome glass doesn't mean they put it in everything that has their name printed on it. Have you tried S&B, Valdada, Steiner, US Optics, Khales etc...? This is not to say that Nikon doesn't do pretty darned well on the glass anyway, but you won't find it to be up to the highest of standards of scope makers.

Also, Nikon wouldn't be the camera maker I'd choose. Just sayin'. Canon FTMFW! ;)
