Hello,

Curious as to experiences with the SHV line of Nightforce. Any poor experiences?

Thanks in advance.

I've got the 4-14 F1. Its been a solid scope. If I needed another would consider it again.

Do your research on nightforce scopes more places than just here. Threads that speak ill of them tend to be deleted off this site.

I have been rocking one on my 300 win for several years. Fantastic bang for your buck.
And Ive got some very good scopes and i still think it's great for the money.

I have 2 and wouldnt hesitate to get another one. Only thing I dont like is the weight. They are a bit heavy, but are well made. One of the best at tracking too. Returns to zero with no problems. Hard to beat for the money IMO.

Frank Galli has been testing the tracking of his students' scopes at the classes he teaches across the country. Results are in the link, results are in % (ie, scope dialed 10mils, actual travel was 9.9mils, scope would be 99%, if dialed 10mils and traveled 10.1 mils, it would score 101%). I think he said 2% Error was acceptable.
Below is the link to his full description of the testing and how to read the table. Also included the table so you can see if not a member over there.

Judging by his independent results, the SHV, as well as the rest of the NF's, perform well.
