This 375 RUM looks like it will be a keeper. Manufactured in 2001, never fired after it left the factory. Very nice English walnut stock.
I normally use synthetic stocks because of the very wet rough weather that I often hunt in. This was such a nice looking rifle, I could not pass it up. I plan to seal the stock real well to minimize moisture absorbsion and change in point of impact.
Of course the Remington stock is well sealed on the exterior but I want to seal the cut checkering and the inside of the stock. Any suggestions on products to use and methods would be greatly appreciated.
Also, pet loads for the 260 Gr Nosler Accubond and the 300 Gr Sierra Game King would be helpful.
Thanks!
Dean
