New molded in stock finish from Mcmillan "McWalnut"

As a Timbercutter, I can appreciate that stock. Looks like it's probably out of the root ball of the tree. Just judging by the irregular grain.

This is a fiberglass stock, the wood pattern is in the gelcoat.

I have 2 McMillan stocks with the molded in color. Guess I just discovered what my next McMillan will be. That will dress up my 338 RCM quite nicely. Beautiful, yet stabil and no worries of knocking it around. Can't get any better than that.

You could have fooled me and I've been in the custom cabinet business for over 40 years. That's a fantastic looking almost peace of wood.

Pretty much, yes. Some colors that aren't on Mcmillan's website are still available. One example is their safari camo molded in color. It's still available, but not listed. The best bet is to call McMillan for any questions. They're awfully good people to deal with, and their stocks, in my opinion, are worth every penny.
