New 2014 Remington 700's

Has anyone seen the new Remington's? On the website, they have a Model 700 Long Range and a Model 700 Tactical Chassis listed along with the 223 Rem in the CDL Limited Stainless Fluted for 2014.

Is the 700 Long Range supposed to be replacing the Sendero or XCR LR Tac?

Does anyone know the caliber options for the 700 Long Range?

I have had several long range's in my hand ..308,25-06,30-06,7mmRM,300 win mag and I thank there's a ultra mag in there somewhere but haven't got to see it yet..I just ordered the 7mm RM it will be here Wednesday... I don't think there are replacing the senderos II because those are still in the catalog.

I don't have any experience with the XCR LR, the older senderos will always be my favorite, but I'm Excited about my new long range ..they are a little bit more bulky then the older senderos..but we'll see ..

I just bought a 700 Long Range in .25-06. It's basically a Varmint with a better stock. It isn't as nice as the Senderos I've seen, they seem to be a higher quality rifle.

In my opinion no ..I had a sendero sf2 in 7mm that shoot decent, but my 1997 sendero 7mm would shoot circles around it. I also have a 300 win mag old sendero that shoots vary well also..

Let us know how that new 7mm shoots. I have been eyeing the long range for a few days now.

I went and looked at a Sendero SF 2 in 300 RUM at my local Scheels.....absolutely DISAPPOINTED! The barrel inletting was horrible....touching on one side and a 1/4" gap on the other side. The barrel crown was also horrible ....very noticeable chatter marks. I pointed it out to the salesman, he took it off the shelf and was going to send it back to Remington. I have been a Remington guy for a long time....but my last couple experiences have been less than desirable.

Not the one I want but it will do..having a break put on it and will start to do a break in this spring if I get rained out of the field
