I have a hellscanyon long range in 28nosler which came with an integrated radial muzzle break. I'm wanting to put a new break on it but every break I've found says it needs the barrel shoulder where the break bumps next to, to measure .75 or larger. Mine measures .733. Is this a safety issue? Thanks.

Take a look at the seekins muzzle break. It's what I use on my HC McMillan. It's the smallest self timing muzzle break I've found and works great.

Hawkins makes several diameter of brakes to turn down and blend with barrel contour. .750" w. 1/2"x28 threads can be turned to .687".

APA Micro Bastard is .750". Says it can't be turned, but I have 3 that are turned to blend with a Bartlein #3b @ 26', which is .700". 7RM, 6.5SS, and old .260 Rem.
